Extremely beautiful. Perfect Location. Easy communication. Madly love. Highly recommend!

This adorable and affordable hotel is in the single best location in all of Guadalajara. The building is charming with a great rooftop. The whole place is sparkling clean and the rooms are comfortable. The service is super friendly and helpful and communication was great. Walk in two minutes or less to some of the cutest coffee shops, bars, cafes and restaurants in the city. On a quiet private street but a short, lovely, safe walk to the busiest parts of Colonia Americana!

Casa Irake is a beautiful, tranquil place to stay in a cool and trendy area of Guadalajara. On our first night, we unexpectedly arrived late at night and the hosts thoughtfully sent us all the information we’d need to let ourselves in prior and also left us a little note outside as well. It seems to be very new, everything is sparkling clean and thoughtfully laid out. The kitchen is very well equipped and open all hours. We stayed in the private room, but I also saw that the shared bathrooms are exceptionally spacious and clean. I would not recommend it if you’re looking to meet other travellers, my partner and I were busy with our plans in Guadalajara so we enjoyed the the fact that it was peaceful and quiet.

I absolutely recommend this hotel for anyone wishing for a fabulous stay in Guadalajara! Everything was perfect: the shared rooms, the rooftop terrace, the coffee, the kindness of the guests. I was in Guadalajara for my work and would come back here any time! Really loved it !!

We stayed at Casa Irake for a few days after our wedding with 20 family members. The house, the staff, the communication and care given to us as visitors was absolutely outstanding! We loved everything about our stay and were very impressed with the attentiveness and quick responses from the hosts Jose and Diana! Anything we needed, we got. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience! We look forward to being back again!

I’ve stayed here, and at several other hostels in the city. By far, one of the nicest, cleanest, modern, fully equipped stays one will have at a hostel. In fact, hostel is not an appropriate title, as that is seen by most as those things which this place is simply not. My daughter and I enjoyed our stay when this property newly opened, we are not friends/acquaintances or any such thing ( there are reviews of other hostels that have their friends rate them highly, when it’s not true). To that, giving a business a poor review because of outside influences (construction noise for example) is poor taste. To suggest a refund because one wasn’t informed of construction (This is Mexico remember) ignores cultural differences. This casually elegant hostel sits in a residential area, off the busy streets, with cafes, local businesses, restaurants, shopping,and things to do nearby.

We stayed at casa irake the weekend of the 21st-23rd of February. As soon as we arrived we were pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the building with is tall ceilings, beautiful courtyard and pleasant roof terrace. The most important surprise of all though were the lovely Diana & Jose who hosted us. It was a challenging weekend due to the security situation at the time and they did everything they could to make us comfortable providing us with drinks and a small meal in the evening and again at breakfast the following day. These were exceptional circumstances and they were exceptional hosts. Nice building, great location & fantastic people 10/10

Casa Irake is a great place to stay in Colonia Americana. Very, very clean, very friendly, and comfortable. It is one of the best finds traveling in Guadalajara. A very safe place. Very good Value! Staying at Casa Irake gives me good luck!
